X on radeon fails with : Cannot read V_BIOS

Hi!

I have two gfx cards. SiS 6326 and a readon 8500LE.

If the BIOS inits the SiS cards, X11 on radeon can be run once, then the following
runs fails with :

(EE) RADEON(0): Cannot read V_BIOS


It is strange, that it can read the V_BIOS the first time and then no more.

Any clues ?

( the SiS card only displays the textual console, no X was run on it ).

Data :
 - OS : Debian Sarge weekly 20050125 i386
 - XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1 (Debian 4.3.0.dfsg.1-10 20041215174925 fabbione@fabbione.net)
 - PCI card : SiS 6325AGP, 8MB RAM
 - AGP card : Radeon 8500LE 32MB RAM ( Hercules 3D Prophet 8500 FDX )

Should I ask on some other lists ?
I dodnt write to xfree86, as the banner says that this version is extensively modified
by the Debian Project...
