Bug#142732: installation-reports: Dependency botch between exmh/metamail/apache?)

I'm still largely clueless about Debian stuff but after poking around
in the .deb files in /var/cache/apt/archives/ I think I see the following:

 - EXMH depends on metamail
 - Apache depends on mime-support
 - mime-support conflicts with mail(<<2.7-44)
 - The only metamail available is metamail_2.7-43_i386.deb

...so is it possible that APT interprets my stated desire
to install Apache as an implicit command to remove metamail
and all its dependents?
