I've installed the blackdown java packages. Add this line to /etc/apt/sources.list:deb ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/devel/lang/java/blackdown.org/debian/woody non-free And then: apt-get update apt-get install j2sdk1.3 j2sdk1.3-doc-installer I'm actually using unstable now, but java is working in both mozilla and galeon.
Hi! My problem is:I'm runing woody and installed the java plugin (Java(TM) Plug-in 1.3.1-b24) by the symlynk method; In the 'about-plugins' (on mozilla 0.9.8) all seems to be fine; the problem is that the plugins don't work as espected (in http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/1.3.1_01a/demos/applets.html, none of the demos worked...)
Anyone knows why? Do I have to do the apt-get install method? (java is bigggg...)
