----------------------------------------------------------------------- Debian Stable Updates Announcement SUA 25-1 http://www.debian.org debian-release@lists.debian.org Ansgar Burchardt March 12th, 2012 ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Package : at Version : 3.1.12-1+squeeze1 Importance : low (medium with kernels >= 3.2.9) The version of `at' - a tool for scheduling jobs for later execution - in Squeeze fails to create job files when used with a kernel which restricts the creation of hardlinks to locations which are not accessible to the creating user. Although no such kernels exist in Squeeze itself, the kernel packages in the backports.debian.org repository will soon be updated to include hardlink protection. In preparation for that event, this update ensures that hardlinks are created with appropriate privileges. Upgrade Instructions -------------------- You can get the updated packages by adding the stable-updates archive for Squeeze to your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian squeeze-updates main deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian squeeze-updates main You can also use any of the Debian archive mirrors. See `http://www.debian.org/mirrors/list' for the full list of mirrors.
