RE: sarge sparc type5 keyboard not working

I cannot fully agree with your statement - propably because I did a "copy & paste" from my old SuSE box.
I am using the following setup with Sarge & a German keyboard since month:

xkeycaps shows correct assignments of all keys. The only need I can see is to assign functions to pins (i. e. make the machine shutdown when pressing the power button if you want that to happen). Because I did not see big use of this so far I simply did not implement that.
