Hi Chris,

Now that we have nice autogenerated pages on Alioth, I think that the
wiki could be used as an input point from the users: we can subscribe to
pages that link to the Alioth task pages, and tell the users that they
can make suggestions on our mailing lists or on the wiki itself.

The wiki can have an additional role: to draft pages for the WML
website. For instance, the "Biology" task page accumulated more and more
DNA multiple sequence alignment tools. At some point, I started to write
a more dedicated wiki page (http://wiki.debian.org/SequenceAlignment).
Now that I do not expect the list of packaged programs in this field to
change too often, I will use the wiki page as a base for a new page in
the Debian Med section of the Debian website.

To summarise my view:

Wiki task pages -> Alioth task pages -> Wiki thematic pages -> Debian website

Have a nice day,
