Re: Good NMR-software anyone?
Hi,
I am answering here as one of the authors of NMRnotebook you cited here.
NMRnotebook is a fairly new NMR processing program, the first version
was made available on Sept 15th. The program is still more or less in
beta, but the final version will be available very soon.
It has been designed to be as simple as possible to use, with the
non-expert user in mind.
You can have an idea of the program at
http://www.nmrnotebook.com
Right now, it is not available for linux (only MacOs and Windows), but
will be with the final version (could be in less than a month, and
certainly in 2005).
NMRnotebook is a completely new program, loosely based on Gifa 5, which
is now more or less discontinued? Gifa 5 was itself a rewrite of Gifa
4, an academical program, still available at
http://www.cbs.cnrs.fr/MAJ/LOGICIELS/GIFA/welcome.html
and available for linux.
However the development is stopped as Gifa has been replaced by NPK
available at
http://abcis.cbs.cnrs.fr/NPK/index.html
However the Gifa and NPK programs are NOT meant for the non-expert user
!
(NPK is more a python library, and has no graphic user interface !)
