Was there no other way to fix that regression than a new upstream release with a diffstat that says: 177 files changed, 16453 insertions(+), 14716 deletions(-)
Sorry, I forgot the internal dictionary of tags was updated from DICOM edition 2008 to 2009. You could simplify that to: $ diff -x ChangeLog -x docstrings.i -w -Bb -E -x DataDictionary -x .svn -ru gdcm-2-0-15 gdcm-2-0-16 This leads to: 115 files changed, 1394 insertions(+), 818 deletions(-)
Alternatively, is there a way I can review this without going crazy?
GDCM 2.0.15 is a file based system, so the buffer overrun has little impact on security and such. I guess if this is too much work, leave it that way. Thanks, -- Mathieu
