There were several bugs of severity important and higher fixed
in it. I have no idea which of those affect the version in sarge
however.

Here is the list which I think affect the version in sarge:
#238151 (important): enable fdisk on s390
#282668 (important): build-depend on uuid-dev so that mount uses
blkid library
#285353 (serious): losetup uses not available /proc/crypto/cipher
#280032 (grave): mkswap on a file failed.
#279306 (grave): mount segfaults on non-existing LABEL=
#268119 (important): fdisk performs misaligned memory acceses

bugs fixed that I think do not affect the version in testing:
#286519 (serious): unhashed key setup not compatible in 2.12j+
#284597 (serious): libpam-mount no longer works with
mount_2.12j-1 when mounting encrypted volumes

Note that those are only those in the BTS and more might have
been fixed without a bug report.
