I am aware of that, conversion would need to work like this:
1) debootstrap installs *both* gnutls11 and gnutls10
2) This version of debootstrap is used in a d-i release.
3) exim4 switches
4) exim4 is in testing
5) debootstrap drops gnutls10
6) new d-i release with both new exim and new debotstrap.

That is what I was afraid of. :-( I had hoped Matthias Urlichs had
found a loophole. It is ugly, but if cannot be done, it cannot be
done.

I am still going to try to pursue the plan drafted above, even if it
gets stuck art 2) but I'll upload exim4-gnutls10 to tpu, too.
