Bug#599205: phonon-backend-vlc: kde is playing sounds via pcspeaker, instead of soundcard
Package: phonon-backend-vlc
Version: 0.2.0-1
Severity: serious
Tags: squeeze
Justification: 1
With phonon-backend-vlc KDE is unable to play sounds at all. Instead sounds like "preview" in Dolphin are played using the
internal pc-speaker. Also i have read, that this backend requires VLC 1.1.4, which is not shipped in Squeeze. Perhaps
this may get the sound to work properly.
TIA
