Bug#589405: most weather plugins didn't work after update from kde 4.3 to 4.4
Package: libweather-ion4a
Version: 4:4.4.4-1
Severity: important
I'm wondering if I'm the only one with this problem:
After update from KDE 4.3 to 4.4 some weeks ago most of the weather plugins didn't work any more.
Already configured plugins didn't display a temperature after update.
Any search for different cities via different weather stations didn't return. I'm only able to cancel the search.
During this time any IP packets hadn't been sent or received!
Exactly the same results with 'Weather Forecast', 'LCD Weather Station' and 'yaWP'.
Only 'CWP' is working, but offering not the same set of weather stations as the other ones.
So I think CWP isn't using libweather-ion4a.
A complete reinstall of the workstation with squeeze also didn't resolve the problem.
