Killing window manager under KDE would not kill the whole session which is obviously not the case under Openbox. Yet, OpenBox starts, since LDM is the login manager and not KDM. Again, why are messing with KDE systemsettings if you are not using KDE? Sure, that module could refuse changing settings under non-KDE sessions, hence normal severity. However, this problem is mainly your own fault.
