Package: kdelibs5
Version: 4:4.3.0-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

Trying to update the webkitkde package (kpart-webkit binary package)
resulted in a short discussion on the webkit KDE mailing list:
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/webkit-devel/2009-August/000144.html and ff

and lead to a patch against kdelibs, which will be included in 4.3.1:
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/webkit-devel/2009-August/000148.html

[[ adawit: could you please clarify if the patch you posted is the final
version for 4.3.1 or if it changed later? I guess the Debian packagers
would want to know what exactly this fixes, I don't know enough about the
issue myself. ]]

So, could this patch be pulled in if you happen to do an upload before
4.3.1?

thanks & cheers

(And: I actually learned that 4.3 final was out because I've seen it in my
aptitude update. Only 15min later I've read about it in mail/news/... I'm
truly amazed!)

And those meanies used what we said to you and they misconstrued it to
mean what we said, and that's so unfair.
