Package: kdvi Version: 4:3.4.3-4 Severity: minor *** Please type your report below this line *** I quote the end of page 6 from /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/kdvi/KDVI-features.dvi.gz: <quote> Warning. On some installations, the hyperref macro package is configured to generate PostScript hyperlinks for dvips by default. On these systems, using the line \usepackage{hyperref} will generate DVI file whose hyperlinks are not visible in KDVI. Worse, KDVI will call the ghostview PostScript interpreter for every page, which makes the display very slow. </quote> For me, KDVI properly displays dvips hyperlinks. I haven't noticed that the display is slow either. Therefore the warning may not apply any more. Version: 4:3.5.9-3+rm Hi, You filed the bug http://bugs.debian.org/350763 in the Debian BTS against the package kdvi. Debian has switched to KDE 4 in unstable and kdvi does not exist in KDE 4. Therefore, I am closing this bug as fixed in *unstable*. The bug will remain open for stable since it is shipping KDE 3.5. For viewing DVI files in KDE 4 you can use okular. Ana
