Could well be the problem is in the PDF itself. If so, close the bug > please. KPDF 0.5.10, Acrobat Reader 8.1.2 and Evince 2.22.2 show this behaviour, so I assume the problem is in the PDF producer (that misencoded the text within the PDF document).
