Sorry, I wasn't able to find kdeedu 3.5.10 in debian. (
http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kdeedu.html )
(please-update-to-3.5.10-wishlist-bug already exists:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=497237 ;-) )

The latest unstable version seems to be 4:3.5.9-2 .

Did you use make to install it?

Bug still exists in 4:3.5.9-2 .
