Package: kdebase-bin
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-5
Followup-For: Bug #506113
Same there. fprint works fine on logon, su, sux, but kdesu dont work with fprint.

Strating a program with kdesu then doesn't do anything, but probably wait for some
input. Inserting a fingerprint doesn't help.
This is not exactly that I see.
Example:"kdesu kate" on konsole seems do nothing, but in background (nothing to see)
fprint accepted a fingerprint an in logfiles: pam_unix(su:session): session opened
for user root by (uid=1000)
Processes run: konsole->bash->kdesu->su->kdesu_stub but no kate as root
If you scann a wrong fingerprint the kdesu popup pops up to input the password.
My pam rule in /etc/pam.d/common.auth
auth sufficient pam_fprint.so
auth required pam_unix.so nullok_secure
