Package: kicker Version: 4:3.5.10-0ubuntu1~hardy2 Severity: normal Kicker isn't playing peekaboo correctly. It's set to automatically hide itself immediately, but removing the mouse from it leaves it up there for seconds at a time. My impression is that at each trial it stays up there longer. Changing some aspect of its configuration seems to help for a while (I just made it sensitive on the left corner only). Turning off animation (set to fast at the mo) seems to improve it greatly. The animation may be the thing. Yes it is! Just tested. Perhaps its timing is on a different scale of ten! I've just turned animation back on and now it's stuck. I've counted to about 60. Bringing the mouse over it and taking it away a time makes it disappear, though. Putting the mouse over it doesn't make it appear. Putting it over a second time makes it appear, and then it sticks. Yes, with anim on it looks as though only half the number of mouseover on and off events are getting through. That explains it.
