Bug#480855: klaptopdaemon - battery applet refuses to start up with recent kernels
Package: klaptopdaemon
Version: 4:3.5.9-1
Severity: important
Hi there,
As you can see in #480707, in recent linux images (starting with
linux-image-2.6.25-1 ) the way klaptopdaemon uses to fetch ACPI info,
and that was obsolete, was removed, making the laptop applet not working
for linux-image-2.6 >= 2.6.25 .
If you need more info regarding this issue, feel free to ask.
