Package: kdebase-kio-plugins
Version: 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-7
Severity: normal

With respects to bug #427391 I've installed compelling -dbg packages to
investigate further. However, gdb runs but doesn't load symbols for
/usr/lib/kde3/kio_fish.so wich is proveded in kdebase-kio-plugins. I think
there should be a package for that.

You have not installed kdebase-dbg, have you? But even then kioslaves are not
straightforward to debug because they are started in a separate process
asynchronously.
