This isn't necessary yet. It will be done in the second phase, when icon
cache updating becomes mandatory, and only for packages shipping the
index.theme files, not for packages merely shipping icons.

AFAIK the icon cache format is supposed to be desktop-agnostic, but I
don't know whether KDE supports it yet.
