Bug#432598: Font sizes are not right when first starting kdm
Package: kdm
Version: 4:3.5.7-1
Severity: normal
This problem started appearing several weeks ago:
When I first start kdm (i.e. after booting), a too large
font is used. After logging in to kde, the font is still
too large.
When I log out, once I'm back in kdm the font size is right,
and when I log in again, the font size remains right.
I have checked the font settings in kcontrol (also for kdm),
and they are all on the default values (Sans Serif 10).
The only suspicious line I found in the (xorg) logs is:
FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.
cheers,
Christian Henz
