i fixed the extrange behavior follow this steps: i run kontact: this dont work (crash on startup) i run kmail: this open the kmail window fine run kontact (again with kmail opened) here, kontact open now!, and kmail app still out of kontact app i close kmail i switch to another toobal icon (ej, NEws|knode) i switch to kmail icon and voila, kmail is showed into kontact again i can run kontact again, i think to you can close this bug, this was solved i cant find the exact error that trigger this, i think that was maybe miss/fail kontact configuration but still cant detect it.
