package: kdm version: 3.3.2-1 this issue is quite puzzling. we've updated a few of our user's debian boxes, and kdm is a common package that gets upgraded. now, kdm greets our users normally, but when they login, they are briefly taken to a generic gray xserver screen, and then almost immediately returned to kdm. this issue only appears to affect kdm. we've been able to get users back into kde using gdm/xdm with no problems. keep in mind, these users mount their home directories from our nfs server, and i'm wondering if this new kdm doesn't like nfs/nis/autofs. also strange, i've been able to start fluxbox using kdm with no problems. # cat /etc/debian_version 3.1 # Linux xxx.xxx.xxx.com 2.4.27-2-686 #1 Thu Jan 20 11:10:41 JST 2005 i686 GNU/Linux thanks! -jeff

Does it still apply to you? No reply - closing. /Sune -- Do you know how to install a connector of the shell to the code to a Internet address? You need to disable the wordprocessor to boot the 4-inch 3Dfx clock.Attachment: pgplQPJYaq0Tt.pgp
