Package: kword Version: 1:1.4.2-5 Severity: normal I have created a fax from the fax template in kword. It has some text on the cover sheet, but well less than a full page. When I save the document it flashes some alternate box layouts and fonts on the screen briefly. After this the document has an additional, blank (except for the footer) page. If I click in the footer of the 2nd page and then delete page the second page goes away. I can print to postscript and get a 1 page document (including a footer page 1 of 1 on the first page). But every time I save it the 2nd page comes back. It might matter that I'm in the US and my default paper size is letter. The fax template is A4; my understanding is that this is the correct size to use for a fax. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (990, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27advncdfs Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages kword depends on: ii kdelibs4c2a 4:3.4.3-2 core libraries for all KDE applica ii koffice-libs 1:1.4.2-5 common libraries and binaries for ii kspread 1:1.4.2-5 a spreadsheet for the KDE Office S ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.2-11 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.3.5-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdps1 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 Display PostScript (DPS) client li ii libfreetype6 2.1.7-2.4 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libgcc1 1:4.0.2-5 GCC support library ii libice6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 Inter-Client Exchange library ii libjasper-1.701-1 1.701.0-2 The JasPer JPEG-2000 runtime libra ii libjpeg62 6b-11 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblcms1 1.13-1 Color management library ii libmagick9 6:6.2.4.5-0.3 Image manipulation library ii libpaper1 1.1.14-3 Library for handling paper charact ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libsm6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System Session Management ii libstdc++6 4.0.2-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libtiff4 3.7.4-1 Tag Image File Format (TIFF) libra ii libwpd8c2a 0.8.4-2 Library for handling WordPerfect d ii libwv2-1c2 0.2.2-5 a library for accessing Microsoft ii libx11-6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System protocol client li ii libxext6 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11 X Window System miscellaneous exte ii libxml2 2.6.22-2 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-9 compression library - runtime Versions of packages kword recommends: ii libkscan1 4:3.4.3-4 scanner library for KDE -- no debconf information
