Package: kdebase-kio-plugins
Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-2
Severity: normal

Hello,

I hope I am reporting this bug against the correct package.
I am using NFS mounted home directories and switched from NFSv3 to NFSv4
some time ago. Since then when I create a new file (for example download
it with Iceweasel and save it to the desktop; write something to the
home from another client; synchronize files via NFS with a laptop) the
new files are not displayed inside Konqueror/on the desktop. When I do a
'ls' in a Konsole window, they are shown. The files appear when I log
out and log in again. Somehow the GUI is not recognize that the
directory has changed. A refresh does not help. With NFSv3 I did not
have problem.

Regards,
Benjamin Eikel
