Package: kcontrol Version: 4:3.2.3-1 Severity: normal Hi, The packages kfind, kcontrol and konqueror (the only k-programs I have installed) all throw a SIGSEGV on close, which is reported by the KDE Crash Handler. This is mildly annoying. The application works fine whilst it is open. Of course the Backtrace tab provides no useful information for these packages - if you think a backtrace is needed to solve this problem please mail me the URL to the page which describes getting the packages with debugging symbols. I imagine that this bug belongs on a different package e.g. kdebase or something rather than kcontrol but I am unsure as to which. Since kcontrol exhibits this behaviour I thought it would be a good place to start. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 Versions of packages kcontrol depends on: ii kdebase-data 4:3.2.3-1 KDE Base (shared data) ii kdelibs4 4:3.2.3-4 KDE core libraries ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.16-6 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libasound2 1.0.5-1 Advanced Linux Sound Architecture ii libaudio2 1.6d-1 The Network Audio System (NAS). Version: 4:3.5.5-1 Hi! No information from submitter in 4 weeks. Closing bug. If they still occur, please send a mail to control@bugs.debian.org where the first line of the mail is "found nnn version" where nnn is the bug number and version is the version you have found the bug in. Please also write a mail to nnn@bugs.debian.org explaining exactly how to reproduce. /Sune -- Man, how may I do for configuring a provider?
