Package: kcontrol Version: 4:3.3.2-1 Severity: important I used the Add Printer Wizard in kcontrol to set up my printer (if it matters, it is a Kyocera Mita FS1010). The printer is connected via the parallel port. After selecting "Local printer (parallel, serial, USB)" the wizard continues to the Local Port Selection Panel. If I select Local System -> Parallel -> Parallel Port #1 the URI field shows "parallel:/dev/unknown-parallel0" I hardly noticed that this is nonsense. I just noticed that my printer did not work at all. After changing the URI to "parallel:/dev/lp0" my printer worked. For normal users this will be a serious showstopper.
