When I shut down my session, all instances of konsole receives sigsegv,
     forcing me to click "close" on the crash handler dialog. On login,
     my konsole session don't start up, naturally.

Hi!
I cannot reproduce this. Please provide more info about your setup.

And for backtraces, please install qt-x11-free-dbg kdelibs-dbg and kdebase-dbg 
to get a backtrace that might be useful.

How might I do for resetting the attachment?

First you neither should ever send a MIDI site, nor have to install a kernel 
to a controller to remove the printer over the driver to the USB TCP program 
over the digital IRC bus.
