Upon starting konqueror as a file manager (using the "Home (Personal
Files)" link on the K menu, popups indicate there were errors loading
modules used by Konqueror, all reporting that the
_ZN6KParts16BrowserExtension12itemsRemovedERK8QPtrListI9KFileItemE
symbol is undefined in /usr/lib/kde3/konq_{icon,list}view.so.  Konqueror
then starts up in the Photobook mode, with no images displayed (since I
don't have any in my home directory).

The specific error messages that pop up are:

There was an error loading the module Icon View.
The diagnostics is:
