Bug#383412: kappfinder: LyX provides its own .desktop files
Package: kappfinder
Version: 4:3.5.4-2
Severity: wishlist
The lyx-qt and lyx-xforms packages include .desktop files in
/usr/share/applications (shows up in K->Office), making
/usr/share/apps/kappfinder/apps/Office/lyx.desktop unnecessary and
maybe confusing (most likely to execute lyx-qt, could execute
lyx-xforms, but does /usr/local/bin/lyx for me.)
I think the lyx.desktop file should be removed from Debian's
kappfinder package.
