Package: kdemultimedia-kio-plugins
Version: 4:3.3.1-1
Severity: important

Mount CDROM using KwikDisk
In Konqueror, try to eject disk ->

        KDE Eject - KDialog
        Eject /dev/hdc failed!

at this point, the cdrom is umounted but won't eject.

ngadamri@ricky:~/src$ eject /dev/hdc
eject: unable to eject, last error: Invalid argument

ngadamri@ricky:~/src$ lsof /dev/hdc
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE NAME
kio_audio 4888 ngadamri 12r BLK 22,0 667839 /dev/hdc

to get around this, need to kill kio_audio:

ngadamri@ricky:~/src$ kill `lsof -t /dev/hdc`
ngadamri@ricky:~/src$ eject /dev/hdc

(cdrom ejects)

If I uninstall kdemultimedia-kio-plugins, this doesn't happen!

Upstream reports that ejecting is now fixed, and it works for me... so
I'm closing. Let us know if you're still having problems.

Cheers,
Christopher Martin
