Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.1.5-1
Severity: critical
Justification: causes serious data loss

1. Begin kmail
2. Edit mbox with kmail
* changes are not saved by kmail (!)
3. Edit mbox with mutt or procmail
* changes are saved by mutt as they are made
* procmail ... is procmail, so changes are saved
4. Exit kmail
* changes made in step 2 are saved
* changes made in step 3 are lost !!

When the changes made in step 3 include adding messages to an mbox file,
those messages are lost. Since I use procmail to sort my mail, leave
lots of programs (like kmail) running on my computer all the time and
check my mail remotely with mutt, this makes kmail unusable for me.

Thanks for all your work! I'd like to use kmail: multiple identities,
snappy kde, smooth gpg, addressbook integration... very nice.
