It seems that on upgrading to Quanta 3.1 I have lost the ability to tell
Quanta that it can (e.g.) open bash files and so forth.

I can tell the system to open bash (or SQL, or whatever else) files in
Quanta, but if I do so it opens a new Quanta window, which kind of
defeats the purpose of the thing anyway.

Historically I used to go into a dialog and tell it that it could
open all files internally. Now when I right-click on something as
innocuous as a shell script called xyz.bash I get told "Can't insert
binary file as text". If I rename the file to "xyz.pl" then Quanta is
happy to load it, but I think that would be too confusing as a general
approach!

Thanks,
              Andrew.
