Package: quanta
Version: 1:3.2.2-1
Severity: wishlist

The upload feature doesn't work for me. Assuming this is the result
of peculiarities of my web server, I've made this wishlist. It is
possible it's a bug.

I use earthlink, and the procedure for uploading is to go to
ftp-www.earthlink.net and login as yourself. This puts you in a
directory that is specific to your account. I'm assuming that quanta
is trying to make an absolute path, and finding it lacks write
permission.

I specified the path as gc/ (also tried gc and /gc/). The error is
"could not write to file /gc/myfile.part".

If my theory is correct, this is a request that upload work with
relative paths.

I originally thought the problem was that quanta could not create the
directory I was trying to upload into. If it does not, I might as
well request that behavior too :) (though there are some arguments
for not doing so, or at least not doing so silently).
