Severity: wishlist

I'd just like to see a new mail that i am working on to be kept in a tempfile
so it can be recovered if something goes terribly wrong. Nothing is as
frustrating has having to start over from scratch on a multiple page mail
after something went wrong. (I agree running xvidtune and wrinting an
e-mail don't mix but still I'd think it would be a great freature)

This has been supported for a very long time, since even before KDE 2. In
earlier versions, the message being composed was saved as ~/dead.letter,
while in recent versions, it is saved in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/
autosave/.
