Suprisingly enough, that worked. All the icons came back in designer and in my applications.
Also, the segmentation fault issues have gone away.

I find that strange, none of these apps were even linked against the debug libs.

Thanks though, the lack of icons was driving me crazy.
I also see I freed up 17MB removing the debug lib which I never used :)
