found 329738 4:3.4.3-1 submitter 329738 ! thanks This bug still appears to be lurking around here. I just did a new install of kpilot on a new laptop and found the same problem. (Somehow when I installed my patched version previously, it solved this problem, even when I later installed the broken version) The error in the kpilot window shows: Could not start the KPilot daemon.
