Bug#335269: kooka (and others) cannot see *certain* sane sources
Package: kooka
Followup-For: Bug #335269
My scanner is a CanoScan FB630P on parport0. dll.conf and
canon_pp.conf are configured properly. The parport supports
ECP according to the BIOS. libieee1284 reports working ECP,
too. However, I had to enable SPP (non-ECP, non-EPP) *and*
force_nibble to get the scanner to work at all.
Scanimage -L shows the scanner and properly scans from it.
However, neither kooka nor xsane can see the scanner. All of
them properly see my v4l and "test" sane sources, however.
