Well, by reading the bug report, it doesn't seem as if upstream is
interested at all in backporting the fix for 3.4... I can sort of
guarantee you that we'll apply a patch for this, _if_ one is
available. If there's not, and one of the Debian KDE packagers has to
do the work of creating such patch, it'll depend on (a) the
willingness of some of us to start investigating, (b) our ability to
come up with a solution.
So if you'd like to ensure this gets fixed in the 3.4 series, I
recommend that you invest some time in it yourself, or at least
provide some hints for us re what would be needed to be backported.
