Package: kdm
Version: 4:3.3.2-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

currently I'm not able to configure kdm to use a german keymap but use
english language in the greeter. kdm forces me to decide between either
having a german keymap, as I'm using when logged in and german text. Or
I'm getting all text in english, but then I'm also having a US keymap.
Please consider adding the possibility of having a german keymap while
having at the same time english texts. Thanks!

Christian

Well, the thing is that with the KDE keyboard tool in KDE itself you
can affect what happens for your user, that is, once you've logged in.
In order to affect kdm, a user setting is not enough.

XF86Config-4 is a very well known configuration file, I'm afraid.

  OK, done.
