Bug#289055: kdm always shows username

Hi,

I just wanted to point out that I have almost the same problem with kdm. I did 
a fresh installation of testing, added two users and selected kdm as my 
default display manager. I wanted one of the users to be selected by default. 
But whatever I configure in kcontrol gets ignored. I am stuck with the 
"select previous user" behaviour. It seems that the kcontrol module for kdm 
just messes up the config file. Can someone fix this please?
