In
/etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc
stays:
**
#GUIStyle=Windows
# Widget color scheme of the greeter. "" means the built-in default which
# currently is quite greyish. Default is ""
#ColorScheme=Pumpkin
# What should be shown righthand of the input lines:
# "Logo" - the image specified by LogoPixmap (Default)
# "Clock" - a neat analog clock
# "None" - nothing
#LogoArea=None
# The image to show when LogoArea=Logo. Default is kdelogo.png
#LogoPixmap=
**

# "Logo" - the image specified by LogoPixmap (Default)
is NOT true - the DEFAULT is clock (if there is #LogoArea=None)

****
Solution - (just workaround) replace it for [if you want LOGO-picture as
default]:
#GUIStyle=Windows
# Widget color scheme of the greeter. "" means the built-in default which
# currently is quite greyish. Default is ""
#ColorScheme=Pumpkin
# What should be shown righthand of the input lines:
# "Logo" - the image specified by LogoPixmap
# "Clock" - a neat analog clock (Default)
# "None" - nothing
#LogoArea=Clock
LogoArea=Logo
# The image to show when LogoArea=Logo. Default is kdelogo.png
LogoPixmap=/usr/share/apps/kdm/pics/kdelogo.png

****
or

Solution - (correction to STATUS QUO - fewer work :-) replace it for [if
you want CLOCK-using as default {which I prefer to be default}]:
#GUIStyle=Windows
# Widget color scheme of the greeter. "" means the built-in default which
# currently is quite greyish. Default is ""
#ColorScheme=Pumpkin
# What should be shown righthand of the input lines:
# "Logo" - the image specified by LogoPixmap
# "Clock" - a neat analog clock (Default)
# "None" - nothing
#LogoArea=Logo
# The image to show when LogoArea=Logo. Default is kdelogo.png
#LogoPixmap=/usr/share/apps/kdm/pics/kdelogo.png

Thats all.
TNX 2 all great Debian & KDE team.
