Proposed descriptions:

Short:

aRts plugins to decode mpeg, xiph, vorbis and mpc.

Long:

 The aKode plugins enable aRts sound system to play media files and, in 
 some cases, streams of several popular format as mpeg layer I, II and III
 (mp3), speex, xiph, mpc and vorbis (ogg).

 aRts is the core sound system for KDE (and other systems).
 .
 This package is part of the official KDE multimedia module.
