  seems so. could you try doing (while unlogged from KDE):

    rm /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/ksycoca*

  if that does not solve the problem, try:

    rm -rf /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER

  Thanks for Miguel Ángel Zarza, who experienced a similar problem and
  pointed out this possible solution.
