Bug#247312: konqueror: opening of bookmarks is much slower when clicking directly on Bookmarks menu

  I see. could you please tell us what Style are you using (e.g.,
  Keramik, Plastik, some other) and what are your settings under Control
  Center -> Appearance & Themes -> Style -> Effects?
