Bug#273890: Higher priority for this bug

severity 273890 grave
thanks

I fear you misunderstood my mail.
Getting attention for this bug was only a secondary objective of rising the
priority. The first was that, imho, the severity "grave" is the correct one
for this kind of bug:

grave
makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or causes data loss,
or introduces a security hole allowing access to the accounts
of users who use the package.

KFloppy _is_ unusable for many people. (read: those people who have udev on
their machines)

Until now I never had to change the priority (or anything else) of a
bugreport, i saw how Marco D'Itri did it and missed that he also sent his
mail cc to control@bugs.debian.org. Hopefully this mail will finally rise the
priority.

You're right, this is also an upstream-issue. Anyway the kfloppy-package is in
no condition to be released with sarge. In such a case it's imho better to
file a bugreport than just ignoring it.

I'm sorry for any trouble I caused and am willing to help to get this bug
fixed asap, although i cannot do this by coding a fix myself, since my
abilities are just too limited.

Regards
Roman
