When "smb:/" is put in the location bar, the following error is
displayed:

        An error occurred while loading smb:/:

        Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
        klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_smb'.
        .

This worked at the beginning of November, when I first heard about the
Konqueror ability to directly access smb shares, but there was an 
update from 3.2.x to 3.3.x in the mean time which might have been the 
source of the problem. It's not something I use often, so I cannot 
say exactly when it stopped working.

I also want to say Thank You to the Debian package maintainers. You
folks are why Debian is the best distribution bar none.

Please forgive the formatting of this note, Reportbug continues to try 
to submit directly by SMTP even though my ISP blocks SMTP outbound. 
Oh well.
