Forgive me, this is possibly a rehashing of #253076, but I have a problem
that isn't reported with that bug, so please keep reading. When icons
are selected in KDE with a drag or a right mouse click for me they are
not tinted properly but instead turn bright colors (usually green).
Also I have the problem with menus being rendered by Software tint or
software blend translucency. They also turn bright colors (often pink)
instead of becoming translucent. I think this is a problem with the
kimageeffect library of libkdefx.so.4. I also think it may be
conflicting with the savage_drv.so that X uses as my display driver. I
am running debian unstable last fully updated 7/14/04 on an IBM Thinkpad
T22.
